A search partner does not start at education. They glance at the name block, the summary, the most recent title, and the first two bullets. In that short look they decide whether you are a fit for this mandate or a file to park.

Write that top zone like it is the whole document.

• One sentence on the problem you are hired to solve.
• Current scope: P and L, headcount, geography, reporting line.
• Two bullets with money, margin, risk, or growth attached.
• A clean recent title that maps to the market, not only to an internal label.

The rest of the resume has to support that first look. If page two is strong and page one is foggy, the rest never gets its chance.
