Why do people fear job interviews? (part 1)

The vast majority of people are afraid that they will not answer questions in an impressive manner, and some fear questions where they have no idea how to respond. So how is this problem resolved? "Knowledge" & "Practice".

Knowing The Job

One of the most effective ways to overcome interview anxiety is to thoroughly research the company and role you’re applying for. Understanding the job description, the company’s culture, and its mission can make you feel more confident and prepared to tackle questions that come your way. When you know what the organization values, it’s easier to align your responses and demonstrate that you’re a perfect fit.

Practice Makes Perfect - (GET A COACH)

Practicing your responses to common interview questions can dramatically improve your performance. Consider rehearsing with a friend, mentor, or in front of a mirror. The more you practice with a coach and by yourself, the more your responses become second nature, making you sound both authentic and composed.

Overcoming the fear of job interviews isn't about eliminating nerves completely—it's about turning those nerves into motivation. With the right preparation and practice, you’ll not only become more confident but also learn to showcase your best qualities, making you a standout candidate.
