Why do people fear job interviews?

The vast majority of people are afraid that they will not answer questions in an impressive manner, and some fear questions where they have no idea how to respond. So how is this problem resolved? One word, "knowledge". I never once practiced for a job interview. This may sound unbelievable, but I'd like to explain why. Wherever I assumed responsibility for a position whether it was finance, IT, HR, Marketing, operations etc., I made it a point to master the position. In other words, I became a subject matter expert in that field. When you possess a very strong knowledge base, it doesn't matter what question is thrown your way. You can simply tap into your reservoir of knowledge and formulate an intelligent response. So how do we coach you for job interviews? We do it by imparting our knowledge to you.  We then ask all kinds of questions until your expanded knowledge base allows you to respond effectively to any question.
