What SHOULD be the definition of a resume? 

It is anything but a nice typing job. It is the end product of a well-thought-out process. This process begins with knowing each person's experience, skills, education, dreams, aspirations, fears, and concerns. It's about guiding clients toward careers that inspire them in occupations and industries experiencing growth vs. decline. It's about guiding clients who are pursuing a career change, or greater career advancement. Once this thought process is complete, the resume is crafted with all the keywords needed to get past ATS tracking systems and to ensure the appeal and market value of our clients. It is this process that defines what a resume should be.
