WARNING - DO NOT remain unemployed for too long...

There is a perception on the part of employers that job candidates who have been unemployed for a long period of time, fall into any one of three categories. 1) They preferred to remain out of work , which creates a perception of zero ambition. 2) They have been interviewing and no one has made an offer, which means they are not very appealing. 3) They are searching for jobs in a laid back and non aggressive manner which conveys laziness.
